About Paul Milo: As Director, Global Alliances for Red Hat, Paul orchestrates the Technology, Business and Marketing objectives for the Red Hat Alliance with NetApp and other leading partners. Paul leads the integration of objectives from cross Business Units, service organizations, vertical industry groups, and field sales/marketing into a business and technology strategy. Prior to Red Hat, Paul managed Sun's most largest partner, Oracle. Paul initiated and directed the development of joint solutions and associated go to market programs in addition to all 256 Oracle Application porting and performance activities. Prior to joining Sun, Paul has held a number of Senior Sales Management positions in software and hardware technology. He has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA, Mathematics from the University of the Pacific.
About Jon Benedict: Jon Benedict is a Sr. Virtualization Solutions Architect for NetApp in RTP North Carolina. Jon’s I.T. career started out by building database queries on an IBM AS/400 all in support for an automated dialer system in a call center. From there he moved on to building custom RISC-based servers, performing integration work, tool building, and eventually a became Linux Consultant. As a consultant, Jon provided services to many Wall Street customers, federal agencies, and telco providers. In November 2009, Jon joined NetApp as a member of the Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering Team in support of the FlexPod data center solution, Secure Multi-Tenancy, and all efforts around KVM-based virtualization. In September of 2011, he became a member of NetApp’s highly respected Virtualization Team, where he designs solutions around server & storage virtualization. Jon’s work has been published in numerous industry online magazines and has written several white papers around KVM, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and NetApp storage. Jon holds several industry certifications from Red Hat, Sun Microsystems, and HP. Jon also represents NetApp on the oVirt (Open Virtualization) board – http://ovirt.org.
